I understand this work —because I do it too.
Creative Squarespace websites for death doulas, funeral homes, hospice providers, and deathcare professionals…
(from someone who's also an end-of-life doula and legacy artist)
Alongside my design work, I'm also an end-of-life doula and legacy artist through Thoughtful Encounters — so I approach each project with intention and attention.
I know what it means to hold space for someone, and I know how a website needs to feel when someone is seeking support in the middle of something hard.
Calm. Clear. Supportive. Never salesy.
If we build it (authentically), they will come.

A Peek at What I Do
The deathcare world has a particular tone. It is made of a fabric that combines compassion, empathy, and intention in everything it does, at a time when people need it most.
You need a designer who understands the intricacies of the tenderness one must walk with to hold space for those undergoing a profound transition and processing grief — I’ve got you.
Let’s talk — no pressure, just a conversation.
-
Websites are a client’s very first impression of you. Most that are visiting during a moment of grief are looking for solace, not a sterile set of open arms.
Does your current (or nonexistent) site reflect what you have to offer? I can help you design a website that’s as warm and compassionate as your offerings.
-
You’re so busy holding space for others that the last thing you need to think about is how to update your blog or add in new announcements.
Once I have designed your website, I am available to to help you with it’s maintenance and updates.

How I Arrived at This Work
I started conceptualizing websites in the early 2000s, designing them for the art exhibits I was curating. During that process, I realized a site could help someone gain an experiential understanding of a project or business before ever coming face-to-face. A first impression of sorts without even being in the same space…
That impactful realization has stayed with me.
Since then, I have spent the majority of my career in the design world. In the past year, I have shifted my focus to deathcare, becoming an end-of-life doula and legacy artist, and have realized how much I have to offer the industry — through creative vision, thoughtful design, and intentional processes. I am passionate about helping funeral homes, hospice providers, death doulas, grief counselors, and other deathcare-related professionals create websites that truly reflect their purpose to their existing and potential clients.
15+ years in design, including 3 years at Disney Advertising.
